It’s March 6th 2012, I was just about to take a shower before my flight to a conference in Vegas, and there stands my wife- my work phone in her hand.
I admitted everything and the weight of the guilt almost brought me to my knees- When she went to the kitchen counter and came back with a knife, I was ready to let it all go and just let her go through with it.
My life flashes before my eyes. Years of lies, deception, and hiding came down in this one single moment.

Along the way I started drinking like a fish. I tried hiding it, drinking only on business trips which got longer and longer until I was on the road 3 weeks a month.
